HB Journal for Oct 3, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
We got up early enough that I could eat breakfast and walk to work and still get there on time. It was a real October day, with blue sky, clouds & wind.
Over the county the tobacco is all in, and the corn is being put on the shock.
We had such a nice day at the office, a little trade and plenty of time to catch up our book work.
After supper & mowing the yard, I went down to the office - again.
Jane house cleaned a couple rooms among other things today.
