HB Journal for Oct 27, 1940

After eleven sleepy hours in bed, I awoke refreshed and ready to go.

I took my load (of neighbors) to Sunday School and Church. Services were fine and wonderful as usual.

When I came home the Buchers were here and Jane was getting dinner.

After dinner our guests left and we went over home where the family was visiting with Uncle Hershey. We had a swell supper.

After C.E. we all went to Millwood to hear Uncle Hershey preach, he was swell.
