Having neglected to set the alarm clock last night caused us to sleep until six-thirty, the time I should have been at work. Needless to say, I was late.

We were scarcely started right this morning when the mixer ceased to function and we worked till almost quitting time getting it to work.

For supper we went to Ephrata Legion to a dollar and a quarter banquet of Farm Machinery dealers. We had a swell turkey supper and the program included some very swell artists but the renditions just mediocre. We got home about twelve.
