HB Journal for Nov 3, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Getting up seemed easier for no reason at all and I was early at the mill. The weather was a repetition of yesterday's only a little cooler.
In the morning I worked alone with the noise but in the afternoon I worked without the noise, putting a new silk on the mill.
I came home a little earlier than my usual late hour and we went to Strasburg to a District rally & Banquet. Attendance was excusably poor.
Afterwards Brackbills & Romaine came here and raised Cain.
