HB Journal for Nov 29, 1939

Young Eddie Slaymaker picked me up and took me to meet my bus, Groffie. We were a little earlier yet not too early.

It was a warm, clear day and enjoyed by all. We weren't quite so busy in the morning but were swamped in the evening & didn't get done.

We ate supper down home, Daddy was away & Mother didn't feel good.

Afterwards we had a quite nice choir practice at church.
