HB Journal for Nov 19, 1940

Jane worried a little this morning for fear I would get fired for not getting to work on time but I didn't.

It was a swell day again and everyone was happy. We were pretty busy and that was nice.

In the afternoon Jane brought Evelyn down home in the coach. We kinda expected to stay for supper but were fooled. I guess I eat too much.

After supper we just sat and listened to the radio & visited with the baby until bed time.
