After not getting enough sleep for the tenth, more or less consecutive night we wearily arose and set about doing our regular, Saturday morning labor.

We were busy at the mill & didn't finish until 2:30. Then I came home, got Jane & went over home to visit especially Shorty. We hunted in vain again.

After supper we sang quartet numbers. Flossie came. Soon Jane & I left, determined to catch a few hours of the lost sleep and soon old time petting & messing up.
