HB Journal for May 27, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

Not having enough food in our pantry for breakfast, we thought my parents would like to have us as guests for breakfast. We loaded up another load of belongings and came "home."

While Jane washed our clothes, nearly all them, I did what I could to tame down a yard that should have been mown several times since the last time.

We had both dinner & supper here. Fine samples. Eunice & Val visited us a little. Everett, Nancy & I helped Jane inside the house to get things in better shape.

Now it looks like bed—soon.
