HB Journal for May 2, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
This morning it was hazy around the edges but it all blew away. The sun shone nicely all day and we had showers in the evening.
It's an Amish Holiday and so we weren't bothered with them. We weren't troubled with much of anybody and so got a good bit more caught up.
After supper we went to choir practice then down home. Nancy demonstrated her cello, while Everett blew his horn. We had to have a couple of arguments to complete the evening.
The rain seems to be over & the morrow will probably be clear again.
