HB Journal for May 18, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
There seemed to be no special reason to hurry this morning, so I laid in bed until the zero hour, then hurried off to work.
Nothing rushed us at all and we were finished pretty well at noon.
After dinner Jane and I both went down to type and mimeograph for the County Chorus and the Sunday School. We came home later & I mowed the yard, Jane planted flowers.
After supper we went to Gap to hear the H. S. Band. It was good. Mary Jane celebrated her 17th birthday today--long live the Queen.
