HB Journal for Mar 9, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

The wind was blowing as in March this morning and it seemed to blow me under the covers and restrain me from getting up.

All day I worked putting new wooden cogs in the drive wheel of the mill. It was some job but I was fit for it. We got it running by quitting time.

I dressed before supper. Afterwards, Harry & I went to Doc Hersheys, Youngs, Windys, Troop & to church. He went on to Scout meeting. I moved in on the Jr. Guild meeting but missed all but the eats.

The Brown boys & Everett waited with us at church for Harry. It was eleven when we got home.
