HB Journal for Mar 26, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
We didn't get off with a very good start this morning. I had forgotten to turn on the alarm clock and we got up at 5:30 instead of 4:00.
It was cold & clear and the sun was warm. We headed for Waynesburg leaving Saudersburg about seven. The Robinsons went along with Shorty & us in the Chevy.
We picked Carter up in Harrisburg & went thru the Mountains & arrived at Waynesburg about four P.M. We saw the college & people & then went to bed about ten.
Jane & Eunice slept in the girls dorm, Short & I in the frat. house. Val with Don.
