HB Journal for Mar 22, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Groffie helped his parents move into their new home next to Youngs and therefore was not at work today. Dick didn't go to Philly and so we had him to help us.
We had plenty to do but got done around five o'clock.
The ground was covered with a few inches of snow when I got up, but it soon started to disappear.
After supper we all went to choir practice. Rehearsal was fine only Mary Jane & Aldena were missing. Afterwards Jane & I talked awhile & finally went to sleep in the chair, under my coat.
