The day was dark & dreary, the rain was falling fast.

We weren't extra busy at the mill and so didn't mind the weather. Everything went swell until Dick run his big truck with 7 ton of wheat into a side ditch. We had to load it over in the rain. Of course, we got soaked.

I got in the tub as soon as I got home. After supper we went to choir practice. Then we visited Youngs.

Jane had taken her family into Lancaster to do their Spring Shopping.
