HB Journal for Mar 11, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

We heard a robin before we got up.

The weather condition was surprising this morning. A cold north wind had lowered the temperature and cooled things off very much -- the windows were even frozen.

We got the old mill running again and were so constantly unoccupied that it was hard to keep warm.

Mush & milk for supper - a real winter meal.

After supper I went to Lanc. to a Staff meeting. We had a nutty time but got much accomplished.

It was late when I got home & Jane was in bed.
