March doesn't come in like a lion. It was cloudy and dreary but it didn't rain or snow as expected.

We went to the mill again but didn't do much -- that is, along the regular lines. We weren't busy in the feed department and so had to find work in other departments such as clean up, grease, marksmanship, etc.

After supper we had a social committee meeting of the East Branch. The four girls and myself had a nice busy evening.

After they left we retired for it was bedtime.
