HB Journal for Jun 9, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Jane got up more reluctantly than I did this morning, accordingly. I got off to work earlier and we faced another hot day.
By different situations arising, we were all kept quite busy all day. Morris cleaned his cistern and I drove his truck a little.
I drove in home, Garden Spot, after work & got some potatoes late. We had a fine supper with spinach. Afterwards we fiddled around the garden, cleaned my car and such like. We see no visitors and will retire early.
