HB Journal for Jun 7, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
We arose early this morning, both of us, to be ready for the paper hanger. He came before breakfast and was finished shortly after dinner.
It was warm again, almost too warm for good work. We were busy and the checks nearly didn't get out.
After supper I took some of the townschildren whom I had hauled to and from Bible school the past two weeks to their graduation which was in the form of a demonstration. It was encouraging and stimulating.
