Come on, sleepyheads, get up! Too tired? You had long night's rest, too sleepy? Didn't you sleep all night? Isn't there anything for you to do or no service you can render? Come on, you'll be all right once you are up and have your face washed, of course so it goes.

We were alone and busy at the office all day. It was surely hot, the hottest this summer yet by far.

After supper we went to pageant practice and board meeting and a sweet little social of the C.E..
