HB Journal for Jun 3, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
After a night of unappreciated dreams, we got up and had breakfast in the usual order, with not too much time to spare.
At the mill we were really busy. Phone calls meant feed orders and plenty of them.
We got finished about one oclock and came ome to more work. I finished hoeing our potatoes and messed around the garden in general.
It still didn't rain and still needs it.
After supper we washed and dressed up and waited for company to come. No one came except the Young family, but of course, they were company enough.
