HB Journal for Jun 28, 1940

There seemed to be nothing very important to get up for this morning so I was late again--not very late, but just so I wasn't on time.

It was pay day and I was busy again, but got the checks out quite on time.

I went back to work after supper again. Harold--Short came over & we went to Shirks for his car. Mother B visited Jane a while also Nancy and Auntie.

There was a big rain storm in the afternoon and it still carried on at night.
