HB Journal for Jun 2, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
A beautiful morning was this first one of June. We gently drifted along to S.S. and Church (I say "drifted" because it didn't take any effort, it seemed the thing to do.)
The Young People's choir sang in the morning - a first time of the summer. They unveiled a new baptismal fount.
We dined at home. In the afternoon the neighbor children gathered to play croquet.
Jane led C.E. and after church we went over home for about an hour.
