Monday forenoon was pretty good. "Daddy" was there and all our questions had an answer.

In the afternoon he left for Chambersburg to Synod to last till Friday. It was a busy day. It rained a little and the farmers came in to swamp us.

After supper, I had three places I should have gone but I skipped Chorus practice and Fire Co. meeting and went to H. Lester Shenk to a Budget Committee of the County C.E. Union. It lasted a good while & I was late getting home.
