The Novelty of getting up on time has worn off now after two days and I found it harder to get again this morning.

I was by no means late however and put in a full days work.

The weather was terrible. It was hot, "close," "stuffy," "sticky" and all names like that. I worked without my shirt and was wet most of the day.

We had three fish for supper and they were all right. After supper I washed the dishes & Jane ironed. I folded some 150 letters for Jane & it took quite a while--I sweated.
