Congratulations to myself. I got up when the alarm rang and stayed up. I ate a hearty breakfast & then went off to work.

I needed my hearty breakfast for I surely was busy, as were the rest of the men.

The affairs of the day came to a head with the East Branch picnic & splash party in the Brackbill meadows at Brackbills. Forty C.E.ers swam, played fun games and did all sorts of things finishing up with a worship service. The day was swell--the weather warm & the night full moon.
