HB Journal for Jan 31, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
I beat my wife up this morning - that is, I arose prior to her awakening and disention.
It was a swell day again and really got quite warm. The night was cool again and clear as crystal.
At the mill I moved wheat from bin to bin and got my lungs & head full of smutt and dust. We worked our heads off in the afternoon and got dog tired.
After supper we went to Prayer meeting & didn't have choir practice. Then the B-Boys & we went to see Eunice & Val in their new home.
Filed C.E. reports afterwards.
