HB Journal for Jan 28, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

It doesn't seem to take long to get me into a habit, for I got up early again this morning and was at the mill quite on time. That was all very fine for we were terrible busy and everybody helped.

It was quite cold but calm this morning. We had to tow Morris's truck to start it and got cold hands.

Everything went smoothly and we finished up about 4:00 P.M.

After supper I took Jane to visit Eunice & Val. Somehow, they jumped on me & I got sore. I upset Jane's whole evening but didn't notice it at the time. We went back to Kinzers where we slept from 2:00 till almost 3:00. When I got home, Harry had just come in.
