HB Journal for Jan 17, 1940

We got up this morning both tired and sleepy - a little later than we should have, so that Groffie was here before I had my breakfast.

Things were pretty much in order back at the mill again. We were nicely busy & finished on time.

It snowed practically all day but not furiously. It was chilly and cold. Tonight the moon is shining.

After supper we went to prayer meeting. Even the "faithful few" were scarce. We didn't have choir practice but came home.
