HB Journal for Feb 8, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

When the alarm clock rang this morning, I got up and shut it off, turned on the light and snuggled back in bed again. The next thing I knew it was seven oclock. Of course, I was late for work.

It seems that the most important thing I did was shoot three big rats. We weren't extra busy so we didn't work extra hard.

After supper we went to choir practice. We had a nice long rehearsal and everybody seemed to be in a good mood.

After we got home Jane went to bed but I sat and read a story.
