Getting up late is sure getting to be a habit with me lately but it isn't the only bad one I'm acquiring. For instance, I was accustomed for the past several years to eat nothing except at mealtime, now I make a habit of eating anytime, anyplace, and almost anything. But I'm gaining weight.

It rained all day and the creek is high. Things at the mill were normal.

After supper Jane, Harry, & I went with Rancks to see dart baseball at Memorial in town. We later saw "[wikipedia:Sweethearts (film)|Sweethearts]]" -- Jeannette MacDonald & Nelson Eddy -- it was beautiful. Got a present from Jane.
