HB Journal for Feb 27, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
It was hard to break myself from dreamland and to fit myself into the ordinary groove of things this morning. But I had to do it and now can return to dreamland again.
The day was a fair example of early spring, a warm breeze blowing, the ground soft, and the sun warm. We were not busy chopping but rather, fixing the chopper. We worked an hour overtime as usual.
After supper Hersh & Barney went to U.C.C.E. meeting. Harry, Jane & I etc. went to Lancaster to a County Choir rehearsal. We had fun etc. We got back about eleven.
