The second time I got up this morning was about six fifteen. Jane came down a little later. Water had blown in during the night.

We went back to work as usual but still no Allen. We were pretty busy again and worked real late. Instead of the roads being drifted shut the were flooded many places. It just rained all day.

After supper Dick and I went down to see Allen. He was out of bed & we talked quite a while. Jane went down home & I stopped in on the way back. She was terrible out of sorts as usual, but I did the best to keep my own spirits up.
