It is a late hour of the night following a busy and tiring day. I am drowsy, of course, and must scamper off to bed.

I got up Shorty after six this morning, and had to wait for breakfast. We didn't seem to have an awful lot to do at the mill but with one truck, it took till 3 o'clock. I was upset for I wanted to get to church real early in the afternoon.

I went as soon as I could and helped get ready and serve our annual C.E. Valentine Supper. I dished ice cream, Mary Jane, cake. Thanks to Jane the affair was a great success.
