HB Journal for Feb 14, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

Getting up is easier these mornings for it gets daylight sooner and it is warmer.

The mill was already running when I got there but I soon found my accustomed groove and fit myself into it. We were busy. It was a lovely day.

Afer supper I went to a meeting of the mill men at the mill. It was late getting started and so I had to leave. I took Jane a Valentine. We attended a Valentine party given to the UCCE by the Guild. It was a very swell party. I left my car at Shirks for a new fender.
