HB Journal for Dec 16, 1939

We got up quietly and tried not to waken our boys. I drove John's truck back to work.

About nine oclock the boys got up and had breakfast. Then Jane took them back to Paradise to their bus.

We were busy at the mill but finished up soon after dinner.

I spent the afternoon leisurely helping Jane to put the dishes in the new dining room suite.

In the evening we went to the junior close play at the High School. Eunice & Val visited a little.
