After my Janie got up this morning, I went back to sleep and dreamed of apples - all kinds, but all good. And so apples made me hurry and apples nearly made me late for work.

It wasn't quite so hot today. I worried as much trying to find something to do as I did trying to get it done.

Everett was here for supper. Eunice & Val came, Nancy came & John Hess & his wife & Jack came and brought us a lovely gift - 8 goblets & 8 sherbets. We had a very nice time with icecream & cakes& all. They left about 10:30.
