HB Journal for Aug 30, 1939
From Brackbillwiki
Today was a cloudy one again. It was quite cool for a change & John wore a coat part of the time. I didn't have any trouble keeping warm, though.
At dinner time I called the farm and talked to Harold who had been home the last two days.
After supper we cleaned up and went out to solicit ads for the Yearbook. We had quite enough success.
We went home to the farm then & visited. Yuningers were there. We talked, ate watermelon & canteloupe till we "pert near busted" & came home with a car full of supplies.
