Another day, another, what? dollar? Well if we just lived our days for the dollars we might earn, ours would be a life of shallowness and misery (if I know it).

We must look on the bright side and be happy, yet not forget the dark side lest we be foolish. Let us not think more highly of ourselves than we ought as the Scripture says.

Kurtzie is losing his job because he went crooked. John says he got swell headed & that is a bad defence.

I just finished writing to Short. Now, I guess, I'll get ready to finish the day & go to bed.

"When it is past" a day is even shorter than we can write it down.
