HB Journal for Apr 27, 1940

It was bad this morning for fair. I got up too late for breakfast or anything but ate some anyhow and so was late for work. Jane got up later.

Things went all right down at the office. We bought two cars for the shops.

After a brief and hurried dinner, I helped Spunk & Sam move the Brooder house. Then I dug garden & planted some radishes.

We got ready then & went to Schnupp's to surprise Morris on his birthday--we did. All the men were there. We had fun and ate.
