HB Journal for Apr 16, 1940

I seem to be failing a little for I was a couple of minutes late for work this morning. Jane came down later as usual.

We got one of our grand rushes about the middle of the forenoon but it cleared away.

The day was warm and slightly rainy, not bad though, all in all.

In the evening we went to Church to an old fashioned party the C.E. had. Most of us had a good time and some had an exceptional good time.

We got home late & tired.
