HB Journal for Apr 13, 1940

Everything was all right this morning except that there was snow everywhere and about 17° cold.

Jane, of course, didn't go to the office, but rather did her cleaning at home. We had a quite busy forenoon at the place of employment.

After completing the necessary details, we went off to Marg & Willis's. We stopped at Lancaster to do a little bit of shopping.

We got to Lititz in time for a sumptuous supper. Afterwards we played around and enjoyed the radio. Then went to a wintertime bed far from home.
