HB Journal for Mar 29, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
After the usual morning breakfast of oatmeal, eggs, and fruit, I met Groffie about half way and we went to the mill.
From about nine oclock on I had the pleasure of driving Mrs. Hess around in her big LaSalle collecting eggs for the Hospital. This lasted all day & we got close to 80 dozen.
It was cloudy and rainy all day long.
Dot was here for supper. Afterwards we went to a Branch C.E. social which was very fine.
We got home late and had had lots to eat.
