HB Journal for Jan 26, 1940

All in all, we spent a fairly nice day in every way. We got up and didn't have to hurry. It was cold but we didn't suffer any from it.

At the mill we had a very good bit to do but the boys cooperated well and we got it done up even though John wasn't there.

After supper Auntie came. We looked at pictures. Many good old times were vividly brought to mind and almost lived again.

I took her home & stopped in to see my sick girl (Nancy). It might snow.
