HB Journal for Feb 26, 1939

I got up earlier this morning and shaved and took a bath.

At Sunday School the orchestra played for the first time this morning. Mr. Kaufman had a bad cold and so we had a substitute preacher.

For dinner Jane & I visited Grandma Young. The (her) family was there and we celebrated her birthday.

We had C.E. in the evening but no church. The Young People's Choir practiced with Mrs. Kaufman at the organ.

I was late getting home again and needed sleep.
