It was hard to get up this morning because it was still totally dark. It was hard to get moving, too, for a good many reasons.

The weather was warm and, I guess, humid. It was no trouble at all to work up a sweat. No, because we were rushed again in the afternoon and finished late.

After supper Everett & I went to Lancaster to shop. We got Jane a canary for Christmas. Nancy stayed with Jane for the evening.
