We wakened ourselves about two oclock and gave little Evelyn a meal. She was good all night, and we slept pretty well in spite of everything new.

Val went to work early and I went too, later on. Harold is on his vacation and we are striving to get along without him.

The Baby had nearly the whole town in looking at her. Even kids from as far away as Paradise hopped in.

At supper time, I mowed most of the yard. We played croquet with the neighbors till dark. Short (Harold) & Clair visited us later on.
