The beauty of the morning & the fact of the presence of a swell guest in the house made me feel like getting up even if I was sleepy.

It was ever so hot again today and, hotter as the day grew older. We were busy again but not rushed.

Everett put some awnings up to the west of the office. We had the Barrage thresher in the shop to straighten up. After supper we went to teachers & officers meeting at Church. Shorty was to come & we were to go to Lititz, but it got too late. We visited @ Val & Eunice--Dave & Helen now in Paradise.
