Another beautiful clear morning greeted us, promising a swell, summer day. Jane stayed abed as usual, and I went to work.

This automaton business is certainly booming, with a total of 75 gone out to date and 30 this season.

Mr. Williams came and got ready to paper our front room.

After supper we hoed the garden. Webby came and we talked and planned. I read a few chapters of "Bambi" and then retired.
