This morning the wind still blew and it was not inviting for anyone in a nice warm bed. However we made it.

At the mill we were in work up to our ears with 2 ton of laying mash and the like. We finished about 2:00. Then I took the truck (Dick), in none & put straw in it and fixed it up for caroling.

John gave us $50.00 for Christmas.

Back home here I put lights on a tree outside etc. After supper we went to the Church & decorated. We had lovely company (M.J.B.) but no help & it was late till we finished.
