The alarm made me jump this morning, although I had been awake a few times prior to its ringing. We got up shortly and took our time to breakfast.

Even if I did waste a little while waiting for Groffie we were quite early. For a change we were done at noon.

Then I put Zerone in my car. After a venison supper we went to Lancaster & bought a dining room suit. We found no one at home whom we want to visit except down home. We came back late.

Commentary

Zerone was a methanol based antifreeze from Dupont. It apparently sold for around $3.50 a gallon in 1936.
